How does AICleaner find duplicate photos?

AICleaner uses Apple's Vision framework to generate visual fingerprints of your photos. It then compares these fingerprints to find similar and duplicate images, all processed entirely on your device.

Are my photos uploaded anywhere?

No. All processing happens on your device. Your photos are never uploaded to any server or shared with any third party.

What does the app detect?

AICleaner identifies three categories of unnecessary photos:

• Duplicates: Similar photos taken at the same time or near-identical copies
• Screenshots: Screen captures that may no longer be needed
• Blurry photos: Images that are out of focus or have motion blur

Does scanning continue in the background?

Yes. Once a scan starts, it will continue even if you switch to another app or your screen turns off. You'll see the results when you return to the app.

How do I change the language?

Go to Settings (gear icon) and select your preferred language. The app supports English and Turkish.

Can I adjust the similarity threshold?

Yes. In Settings, you can adjust the similarity threshold to be more or less strict when finding duplicates. A lower threshold will find more potential duplicates, while a higher one will only match very similar photos.

How long does scanning take?

Scanning time depends on the number of photos in your library. A library with a few hundred photos typically takes 1-2 minutes. Larger libraries may take longer.

Does the app work without internet?

Yes. AICleaner works completely offline since all processing happens on your device.
